Forests grow, fall and regenerate in the wake of elephants. These are far ranging animals with ancestral migratory routes stored in the collective memory – or so we guess, with our limited understanding. I have witnessed a young elephant making a journey that followed an ancient migratory path known to have been used by the herds hundreds of years before. Crowded out by humans, their natural ranges and food and water supplies, have become limited. Collectively, as a species, while we excel in destruction and a desire to control, we are really quite abysmal when it comes to sharing.

The latest jigsaw, with a marine theme, is coming together.
